Where Small Business Owners Go to Get Real |
Entrepreneurs on Tap Returns to Crosslake for Its Final Spring Session |
If you've ever wished there was a place where business owners could have honest, practical conversations — not the polished kind you find at corporate seminars, but the real kind — Entrepreneurs on Tap is exactly that.
The series returns for its final spring session on Wednesday, May 6, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at Up North Social in Crosslake. The topic: Preparing for Tourism Season.
Entrepreneurs on Tap is now in its third year, and it's become one of the most popular business gatherings in Crow Wing County. Organized by the Brainerd Lakes Area Economic Development Corporation and the North Central Small Business Development Center at Central Lakes College, the series meets business owners where they are — literally. Events rotate through locally-owned businesses across the county, including breweries, coffee shops, and gathering spots that are themselves testaments to what it takes to build something in this region.
"What began as a new way to meet entrepreneurs where they are has quickly grown into one of the region's most anticipated business networking and learning series," organizers said.
Each session features a focused "Topic on Tap," a facilitated discussion, and genuine networking with other business owners who are navigating the same challenges you are. Whether you're just starting out or have been running a business here for twenty years, these conversations are designed to be useful — not just inspirational.
For the Crosslake session, the timing couldn't be better. Tourism season is right around the corner, and the question of how to prepare — staffing, marketing, pricing, operations — is one that every local business faces in a different way. This is a chance to compare notes with people who get it.
Registration is open and free through the Brainerd Lakes Area EDC. Check their website or Facebook page for details.
