Local Stars Are Dancing for Your Neighbors' Homes

There's something magical about watching your dentist, your realtor, or your neighbor from down the street attempt a cha-cha in sequins — all to raise money for affordable housing.

 

Dancing with the Lakes Area Stars is back on Friday, April 10 at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts in Brainerd, and this year's lineup is ready to entertain.

 

Presented by Old National Bank and benefiting Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity, the event pairs community members with dance partners for weeks of practice, fundraising, and — on the big night — a friendly competition where the audience decides who wins.

 

Every dollar raised goes directly toward building safe, affordable homes for families in our community. Competing this year: Shanna & Bob, Bekah & Adam, Aubrey & Dan, Gary & Kara, Dani & Kris, Tess & Brian, Jessica & Paul, and more.

 

The bad news: VIP tickets are sold out.
The good news: General Admission is still available — online until noon on April 10, or at the door.
