Got a Great Lake Shot? Share It with Minnesota

Spring is almost here, and that means one thing for lake country: it's time to start looking at the water again.

 

We wanted to make sure you know about this community opportunity: the Brainerd Dispatch and Pine and Lakes Echo Journal are collecting lake photos from local residents for their annual photo feature. The best submissions could end up published in the 2026 issue of Love of the Lakes Magazine.

 

Lakes Area Buzz is not affiliated with either publication — we just think this is a great way to celebrate what makes lake country so special. Sunrise over a glassy lake. A fishing line in the mist. A kid's feet hanging off a dock. Your golden retriever with a very fishy expression.
