Established in 2017, Minnesota Cleaning Solutions has garnered a reputation for excellence, offering services ranging from routine house cleaning to specialized tasks like mold remediation and trauma-scene cleanup.

In 2024, the company was honored as the "best of the best" in carpet and duct cleaning, a testament to their commitment to quality.

Carner emphasizes, "We offer competitive prices with a knowledgeable staff who cares for your home like their own."

Serving a broad region—including McGregor, Malmoe, Hackensack, Rice, and as far east as Fergus Falls—the company has expanded its team to approximately 14 employees to meet growing demand.

Complementing her cleaning enterprise, Carner ventured into retail with The Back Porch, located in the Westgate Mall.

Operating for over a year in its current location, the store specializes in brand-new merchandise sourced from major retailers such as Target, Walmart, Costco, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, and Home Depot.

Carner proudly states, "We don't have anything in here that's used. Everything's brand new."

The Back Porch has become a community favorite, offering enticing promotions like $5 bin sales for brand-new clothes from Monday to Wednesday, increasing to $10 from Thursday to Saturday.

Additionally, Mondays feature a $5 shoe sale with a "buy two pairs, get one free" offer.

Recognizing the potential for synergy between her businesses, Carner has implemented cross-promotional strategies.

Residential cleaning clients receive discounts at The Back Porch, fostering customer loyalty and encouraging repeat business.

"I give residential cleaning customers a discount for shopping in here," Carner explains.

Looking ahead, Carner has ambitious plans for The Back Porch.

"We're hoping to move into a bigger spot within the coming months," she reveals, aiming to accommodate a wider selection of merchandise and enhance the shopping experience.

Community engagement remains a cornerstone of Carner's business philosophy.

Carner’s commitment to community runs deep. In 2019, Minnesota Cleaning Solutions partnered with the nonprofit Cleaning For A Reason to provide free house cleanings for cancer patients, offering comfort and relief during difficult times--a reflection of her simple goal to help whenever and wherever she can.
